Sebastian was exited for the new year, he had been in Tokyo almost all summer and had done few videos for his channel 'SaltYuto&Pepper'
As his father dropped him off he thought about his debate teacher, Mr Hood, and his funny hat.
'This will be a good year' he thought
Jaylee walked up to the tall school building and looked up at it. She sighed, holding her camera close to her. 'I was able to survive last year.. Let's see if I can do it again this year' she thought. She walked up the steps of the building and into the noisy hallways.
Heading to his first class 'Algebra 3' bumped into a girl with a camera "Oh sorry, you okay?" he asked
She stumbled slightly when I guy bumped into her. She smiled slightly and nodded. "Yeah, I'll be fine.."
He extended his hand "I'm Sebastian, though you may know me from my youtube channel 'SaltYuto&Pepper'" he smirked hoping to be recognised.
She raised an eyebrow slightly and shook her head. She took his hand and shook it. "I haven't heard of you.. But it's nice to meet you.. I'm Jaylee."
He was slightly disappointed but he said anyway "Cool name, so where you headed?"
She glanced down at her schedule and looked back up at him. "I have French 1," she said. "And you?"
"Algebra 3" he said "And who do you have lunch with?"Even though he was a popular youtuber, he didn't have many true friends to have lunch with
She shrugged. "I usually eat outside on the grass. My friend's are usually too busy getting in trouble off campus."
She smiled slightly. "Well, if you want to torture yourself that badly, be me guest. But I have to go to class.. so maybe I'll see you at lunch." Without waiting for a reply, she quickly walked past him down the hall.
He frowned after her. His following classes were a blur, and when lunch finally came, he hurried and got outside.
Jaylee walked out in front of the school and sat down in the grass. She set her lunch down in front of her and took out her headphones, plugging it into her phone. She turned on her music and laid back in the grass.
He found Jaylee outside listening to music, he sat down beside her and got out his lunch "What's up!?" He grinned
She looked up at him and smiled slightly turning down her music. "Well look who decided to join me.." She took her headphones off.
"So what were you listening to?" He asked and took a bite off his sandwich
She opened up a bottle of water and took a sip from it. "I'm listening to a band called Motionless in White. Ever heard of them?" She looked at him, not expecting him to have heard of them.
"'Fraid not, my lady" he shook his head "But I am sure they're great, can I listen?" He took another bite
She shrugged and handed him her headphones. "Just going to tell you now, not everybody likes this type of music.." She turned on a song for him to listen to. (( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YguM... ))
He listened and shuddered at the music "Well, it's not my type of music but it's cool" he took out his fries "Maybe I 'll talk about this band in my next video, to make it more popular" he smiled at Jaylee
She shrugged smiling. "They're pretty popular already, but that would be cool." She picked up her hamburger and took a bite out of it. "What kind of music do you listen to?"
"Well you know, Kansas, Survival, the old rock" he says "Mostly because of my dad, he liked it very much" his expression turned grim.
She smiled more. "Old rock is good.." Her smile faded when she noticed his expression. "Is something wrong?"
"What? It's nothing, it's just that my dad and his wife are coming over in Friday . And Lidia, his wife, doesn't like me much. But my expression is caused by the fact that I have to clean my bedroom and uhh, it's a mess!" He exclaims
She smiled laughing slightly. "My room is a mess too, so we both have something to do when we return to our homes." She noticed that one of her friends was trying to sneak off campus. She smirked when one of the staff caught her.
He looked at the place where she was looking "Friend of yours?" He asked and offered some fries to her.
She nodded. "Yep. She'll most likely be suspended if she keeps it up. She did it all the time last year. She was lucky enough to get only lunch detention." She took a couple fries. "Thanks."
"Ha! None of my friends do that, we're all pretty good with rules" ha says "So I noticed you have a camera, you like photography?" Yuto asks
She smiled looking down at her camera. "Yeah. I bought it for my Black and White Photography class."
"That's great, I didn't know that was an elective!" He exclaims "When I was a freshman I had photography class but I broke the camera so the teacher kicked me out" he laughs
She laughed smiling. "Did you break it on purpose or was it an accident?"
