Here are some important things that you should take note of before you embark on your journey - and even if you've been here for the past few days, it's important to clear some things up. It is utmost importance to read this ya :>
Roleplay
1. Speak in third person perspective - this means that you should speak from the point of view of your character, using pronouns like he, she, they, them, her, him etc. instead of "I" or "You". - example: (view spoiler)[Tom thought deep and hard about this, and when he saw his friend, Tim standing at the stairwell, he called out to him, "Tim!" (hide spoiler)]
2. Place double parenthesis if you would like to speak out of your character, for example to inform that you will be leaving for a while, or going offline. Double parenthesis means using double brackets, NOT single! - example: (view spoiler)[(( Hey! I'll be going off for awhile, wait for me! )) (hide spoiler)]
3. Be respectful to every one even in character. Yes, your character's personality may be labelled as "rude, stubborn" but it doesn't mean you should use it as an excuse to make someone feel bad about themselves. Be sensitive everyone!
Requests
1. Requests for Associations (Friends, Enemies or Couples) - when you are requesting, please be sure to use the requests folders, so like Friend Requests, Enemies Requests, instead of the official folders. This is important so that we can keep things neat and tidy.
2. Requests for Dorms - please be sure that both parties are willing to share a dorm with one another and the moderators will have to take note of this too.
3. Requests to be on the Characters' List - please ensure to state your character's name, power type and age because this will make it easier for moderators to see who has been or has not been on the list yet. We will delete comments after all your requests has been added by Maya, to keep the topic tidy too.
Characters
1. New characters will have to start from the entrance before entering the school!
2. Characters cannot be in two places at once! It's like in real life, you cannot be in McDonalds and KFC at one particular point in time. If you want to Roleplay at more places, please create more characters, but make sure you are able to keep track of where all of them are!
3. Please do not make overpowered (OP) characters. It is okay to be the God / Goddess of Death, but under powers, don't make them characters that can kill off other characters with a snap of their fingers, for example. This would spoil the RP for everyone. Moderators will look at your characters in detail, and we will ask you to edit it if it seems to be OP.
4. Don't leave other characters hanging! If you have promised to roleplay with them, don't move on to another area if their owners happen to be away or sleeping. Everyone has lives to lead too! So if you want to do so, drop them a PM and ask, or wait for a while. The point is, inform them, so that they wouldn't be confused.
