Bana AZ (anabana_a) | 414 comments 12/21/15 edit:
This challenge made me read more than I thought I could, and at the same time it made me see that I have read so little.

This reminded me that there are so many books that I still wish to read! And as much as 52 books in a year is, it is still only a tiny drop in the world's library. But drop by drop, year by year, I am willing to keep on reading.

-----------------------------------------------------------

I'd be happy if I finish 25 of these books. I'm also changing this list every now and then.

In addition to reading as much of this as I can, I'd like to challenge myself to write a proper review for all the books I read this year, too. Wish me luck!

Cait (clickcait) | 480 comments Good luck with your list.

You've got the same Week 2 and trilogy on your list as me. We'll have to compare notes. ;-)

Same book for the "play week" for the moment, but maybe I'll changed my mind.
Nice choice for the comic book, it's a must have about Batman :)

message 4: by Bana AZ (new)

Bana AZ (anabana_a) | 414 comments Why, thank you, both. :)

message 5: by Anja (new)

Anja (thesofa) | 86 comments Love The Lightning Thief - and the whole Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series!
You might end up reading 10 books (both series) instead of just one... :D

message 6: by Bana AZ (new)

Bana AZ (anabana_a) | 414 comments Anja -- I hope I can resist reading the whole series to finish this challenge first. :)

'Where the wild things are' has bad reviews? I liked it as a child and find it ok as an adult. Maybe it's the weird side which is difficult for some people :)
Anyway good idea to read a picture book for this one, it will be short :D

message 8: by Anja (new)

Anja (thesofa) | 86 comments Good look with trying to resist - I had a look at your favourite books and I think that the Percy Jackson books could be just perfect for you ;D

message 9: by Bana AZ (new)

Bana AZ (anabana_a) | 414 comments Zaz -- I kind of cheated and made sure I got a good book by googling "good books with bad reviews". Life's too short to read a bad book.

Anja -- Nice! I'm glad I put that in the list, then.

Yey! Congrats :)

Norwegian Wood and The Stand are on my 2016 TBR, it's nice to see 5 stars.

I see that you had fun with all the Avatar graphic novels! I preferred the animation series, but the comics were nice too! At some point I need to watch The Legend of Korra :)

Bana AZ (anabana_a) | 414 comments Thank you. Yeah, I stuck all the Avatar in there when I was panicking that I was a few books behind. But I rearranged them to accommodate the books that I've read since.

I hope you'll like Norwegian Wood. It's truly one of the gems that I found because of this challenge.
