Alexandra Dumitrescu (alexandraxiuliana) So... as I said in my introduction: I'm in my 12th grade. This means important exams during June and July 2015, so the time isn't my friend. I have a tight budget. But, I love reading books and I'm a book collector, and I'm also ambitious and perfectionist. So I think I will be able to finish this challenge somehow. :D
Also, I'm Romanian. So, some books are written in Romanian (5-10%). And if the books are in bold, it means that I have them (physical or ebook) or I can borrow them. The book with [RO] means that I own that book in Romanian and the book with [RE] means re-read. Ok, here we go...

#1 A book with more than 500 pages: Fifty Shades Darker

#2 A classic romance: Wuthering Heights

#3 A book that became a movie: The Book Thief I saw the movie, AMAZING.

#14 A nonfiction book: Plan diabolic [RO] Romanian author.

#15 A popular author's first book: Carrie I don't have the book in English, but I can borrow it in Romanian from my aunt.

#16 A book from an author you love that you haven't read yet: Paper Towns

#17 A book a friend recommended: Selected literary works

#18 A Pulitzer Prize-winning book: The Orphan Master's Son

#19 A book based on a true story: Povesti: Amintiri; Povestiri [RO] - but only the chapter called: ,,Amintiri din copilarie'' It's by a Romanian authour.

#20 A book at the bottom of your to-read list: The Count of Monte Cristo

#21 A book your mom loves: La Medeleni vol. 1-3 [RO] Although we own a much older edition. Again, a Romanian author.

#22 A book that scares you: The Shining [RE] Also, I can borrow it, but in Romanian.

#23 A book more than 100 years old:[the story] Viaţa la ţară .Tănase Scatiu .În război [RO] Although we have the 1983 edition. Romanian author.

#24 A book based entirely on its cover: Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls

#25 A book you were supposed to read in school but didn't: The Catcher in the Rye Well it wasn't compulsory as it was for ,,Universal literature''. And I also read all my compulsory books in Romanian.

#26 A memoir: On Writing

#27 A book you can finish in a day: Stapinii Adincurilor [RO] Romanian author.

#28 A book with antonyms in the title: Wrong Groom, Right Bride

#29 A book set somewhere you've always to visit: A Geek in Japan: Discovering the Land of Manga, Anime, Zen, and the Tea Ceremony

#30 A book that came out the year you were born: The Notebook

#31 A book with bad reviews: The Almost Moon

#32 A trilogy 1: The Maze Runner

#33 A trilogy 2: The Scorch Trials

#34 A trilogy 3: The Death Cure + the perfectionst in me say: The Kill Order

#35 A book from your childhood: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass [RE]

#36 A book with a love triangle: Maybe Someday

#37 A book set in the future: Allegiant

#38 A book set in the high school: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

#39 A book with a color in the title: Black Beauty [RE]

#40 A book that made you cry: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

#41 A book with magic: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

#42 A graphic novel: Pyongyang: A Journey in North Korea

#43 A book by an author you've never read before: Invitaţia la vals [RO] Romanian author.

#44 A book you own but have never read: Recreaţia mare [RO] Romanian author.

#45 A book that takes place in you hometown: [my hometown is small, so..., but I chose an author who lived here, but sadly died]: ,,Soarecele B'' by Ion D Sirbu [RO] Romanian author.

#46 A book that was orignally written in a different language: ''Around the world in 80 days [RO] by Jules Verne I wished I knew French :(.

#47 A book set during Christmas: Let It Snow [RE]

#48 A book written by an author with your same initials: The Maytrees

#49 A play: The Pillowman

#50 A banned book: Lolita

#51 A book based on or turned into a TV show: A Game of Thrones: The Story Continues Yep, I will buy all of them because I'm a perfectionist and book collector. I've never watched the show. But, at the same time I heard that he is still writing, and I don't know, maybe I will wait until he finishes and then I will buy another collection. Also, do you have some recommendations of book/book sets that turned into a TV show that are finished (the books)? Just in case I chose something else, instead of A song of ice and fire.

#52 A book you started but never finished: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

I know that some of the Harry Potter book don't fit quite well in that category, but they fit somehow. As I said I have a tight budget, which means I use as many books I have , instead buying others. ^^
If you have suggestions I would love to hear them.

Alexandra Dumitrescu (alexandraxiuliana) Richard > Yeah, but you are luckier than me from what I saw on the ,,New here'' thread. I only graduate on 29th of May and I have exams during June and July ;.;
But the Uni starts 29th of September. :D
I heard good things about Divergent series, so I gave it a go. Although I don't even know what the stories are about. Only that the action is placed in a dystopian future. And that's enough for me. I wished I had the time and money for Hunger Game series.
But I saw the movie Book Thief and it was amazing, but kind of sad ;.;
And I fall in love with Maze Runner after I saw the movie. At that time I didn't even knew that the movie is based on a book.
I'm pretty happy with my list, although I wished I had also time for: Hunger Games, If I stay duology, Twilight series and Gone Girl. Meh, maybe next year.
