Noah had cleared half of the shaft within a few seconds slowing to a slight jog, he went left, trying to remember every turn he took. The shadows made him shiver. He stared at the ivy, How long has this been here?! His mind recoiled at a sudden smell and he saw a crushed alien-like creature. He screamed and scrambled to get away. He didn't realize it wasn't alive and ran towards the exit.

she looks at the monster "that"s a Griever, they are made by the same ones that made this plac-"before she could finish the bird chirped four times

"I- A Griever huh?" He kicked the thing. "They better not come out at night." He hissed as a jolt up pain went through his leg. "Speaking of which," He looked up at the sky, "It's getting dark." He started into a trot, going the exact way they came.

she looked at him "we need to go now!" she started back she looked scared whatever the bird said must have scared her

He nodded, already halfway down that section, "Hurry up!" Night quickly dawning on them.

she ran "come on!"

He slowed to match her pace, remembering the way. He tugged her the other way, "We are almost there!" He saw the door start to close and picked her up, putting on an extra burst of speed.

she just looked at the door then back at him

They made through the door.
