Hello. As a new writer, feedback is one thing I crave more and more. It took me almost ten years to write my novella, mostly because I worked on and off on it while juggling other projects.
I wanted to paint an authentic, realistic experience and a straight-forward depiction of a tragic situation. I stayed mostly within the "slasher" traditions, but in the end I kept it very much my example of a horrific story, and wrote it in a way that drags you along as the intensity hits.
