I started a blog back in 2012 and have posted over seven hundred times. This year I began posting daily something from "The Imitation of Christ" (which I'm working through) and its connection to something from the daily lectionary readings with the goal of working through every chapter of "Imitation" by the end of the year. I invite you to check it out and comment on it.https://richardgrebenc.com/
Check out https://thesacredpage.com/The Sacred Page is a blog written by Catholic professors of biblical studies and theology. Here we offer thoughts on recent trends in contemporary biblical scholarship as well as reflections on the role of Scripture in the life of the Church. This site, therefore, has two audiences in mind: scholars and believers interested in learning more about Sacred Scripture. We hope our posts are of interest to both kinds of readers.

Well, if we're listing blogs, mine is called Ashes From Burnt Roses, here:
https://ashesfromburntroses.blogspot....
It's mostly on my reads, and in recent years I've put my comments on what we read here at Catholic Thought onto my blog.

I posted on my blog a personal essay on my my experience with life with the coronavirus, a New York perspective. You already know about Meg and Luigi. This fills in the experience the rest of the country has not had. If you're interested:

Very moving, Manny.
Even though we've had more cases here in close proximity to Kansas City than the rest of the state, our lives really didn't change that much if you count out not being able to go out to dinner and not getting a haircut, but all of this has been lifted for a couple of weeks now. We're freshly groomed ;-) They are still phasing things in, but for the most part for much of Kansas the lockdowns were completely overblown. There are entire counties who had no cases.

I found this great Catholic blog, Mater Dei Ministries.
http://materdeiministries.com/
It's run by KellyAnn Carpentier, who happens to be a Lay Dominican. This is what I consider the blog's mission statement from her "About" page:
"Mater Dei Ministries is founded in order to share the Catholic faith with special attention given to the Virgin Mary, the mother of God. Hence, the name Mater Dei Ministries."

On my personal blog, I have a post up remembering Thomas Howard who passed away on the 15th. His Goodreads book page is here.
Thomas Howard Thomas Howard, if you have not heard of him, was a convert to Catholicism, a theologian, English professor, and a wonderful writer. He was a friend to all the current Catholic writers of note. You can read my post here:

I read his Evangelical is Not Enough: Worship of God in Liturgy and Sacrament and found it very thoughtful.
Can I recommend my own blog post? Why not. More than one person said this was a very good post. It's on a poem by Thomas Merton, the Catholic contemplative writer, called "An Elegy For Ernest Hemingway." I was quite struck with the poem. It was written shortly after Hemingway committed suicide. Both Merton and Hemingway were writers and both were converts to Catholicism. That is not widely known about Hemingway, that he converted to the Catholic faith. So the blog post takes you through Merton's poem, through Hemingway's Catholicism, and how Merton and Hemingway were both alike and dissimilar. You might enjoy it. Here is the post.

I highly recommend this excellent blog by Manny. In it he shows the instinct and skills of the true professional. We don’t want to lose him to ‘’The New Yorker,’’ but we get a chance to read a piece produced by a writer with intellect and seriousness and depth.
