Yes, please! It'll just run smoother if the deals thread is treated more like a directory of links than like a true thread. I don't mind if a lot of threads/comments are made in this fold (Comments, Questions, Concerns) but the Deals and Freebie threads should be restricted to just posts with deals.

The question was:
"When I see a book on sale or free how do I post it?"
To format posts about deals the way I have:
In the right thread (so, for example, the May 2020 book deals thread) above the comment box there's an option that says "add book/author" where you can look up the book by title, select the option "cover" at the bottom and add the image to the comment.
Then add a link to the book's page on Amazon.
I hyperlink, so it's just a tiny "buy here" text instead of the long URL by using the little code found in the "(some html is okay)" menu which is to the right of the add book/author link.
Replace the default goodreads link with the Amazon link to the ebook and the default "my link text" with what I want the link to say (in this case "buy here").
If you find my format too much, you can just type the title, the date you found the deal, how long it'll be good for (if you know), and paste a link to the book.
As for adding to the freebie thread, I just add the book's cover to a comment and don't add a link or anything, since trying to link all the freebies will very quickly clog up things.
I hope this clears up things! :)
