Thoughts so far:

I like this world! It reminds me of Avatar: The Last Air Bender. I wonder if it's possible for people from two different kingdoms to have children. If so, I wonder what their "season" would be.

I wonder why Sir is so overprotective of Meira. She found half of the locket on her first mission (which, by the way, I thought was way too easy) but he's refusing to send her to look for the second half. Considering that she did in one mission what he couldn't achieve in 8 years it would only make sense to send her after the second half. Makes me wonder if this has anything to do with Meira's parentage or another issue altogether.

When I first started reading and was learning about the different races, I thought of Avatar:TLA too! I loved that show so I'm pretty happy about that.

There has to be something special about Meira for Sir to be protective. I know she is an orphan, but I wonder if her parents were special and if maybe Sir knows something no one else does...Guess we'll have to wait and see!
