2025 Big Book Challenge discussion

2015 has begun and I am planning on reading 8 big books this year.

1. Contos de Imaginação e Mistério (Tales of Mystery and Imagination) by Edgar Allan Poe - 424 pages (05/01/15).

2. Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout - 418 pages (08/01/15).

3. Divergente (Divergent) by Veronica Roth - 504 pages (04/03/15).

4. Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout - 534 pages (17/04/15).

5. A Mulher do Viajante no Tempo (The Time Traveler's Wife) by Audrey Niffenegger - 656 pages (08/06/15).

6. Harry Potter e a Ordem da Fênix (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) by J.K. Rowling - 703 pages (15/07/15).

7. The Invisible Ones by Stef Penney - 438 pages (27/07/2015).

8. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - 464 pages (20/09/2015).

I managed to complete my 2015 goal of 8 books, so in 2016 I'm aiming for 10 big books.

I managed 11 books for 2015. I'm hoping to try for 12 this year.

First big read of 2016 done!

1. 20 Mil Léguas Submarinas (20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea) by Jules Verne - 503 pages (29/01/2016).

Ya, well done to you. I have done one book as well. The book you just read is one I want to read too because it is mentioned a lot in the book 'All the light we can not see'

Really? I've been meaning to read All the Light We Cannot See for a while, so I might pick it up sooner than later knowing that. 20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a great book, but it's not very fast-paced :)

2. Harry Potter e o Enigma do Príncipe (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) by J. K. Rowling - 471 pages (08/02/2016).

4. As Memórias de Sherlock Holmes (The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - 405 pages (Reread - 14/06/2016).

5. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff - 599 pages (06/07/2016).

I hope you enjoyed illuminae. Once I got use to the writing style I thought it was a cleaver way of telling a story. can't wait for book two

I loved it! It took me a while to get fully into the story, but once I did I couldn't stop reading. Can't wait for Gemina!

7. Tiny Pretty Things by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton - 448 pages (12/07/2016).

I just decided to do this challenge this year, and my goal is to read 5 big books (over 400 pages).

1. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell - 480 pages (02/12/2018).
