Love the approach. Totally agree that the variety makes things more interesting, and I too think the more genres the better. Everything I've tried so far has had at least some positives, so it's definitely working out for me. :)

Read issue #4:Classic, over-the-top comic goodness. Wordy by today's superhero standards but I knew to expect that from Ostrander and had no problem with it. Important background is explained well enough that I had no trouble getting into the story and picking up the important stuff despite having no familiarity with the characters. Big "tune in next week" style cliffhanger to finish.
