Around the World in 80 Books discussion

Here's my record of my rogue traveller tour round the world. I am hoping to visit all 8 regions at least once. I also hope to go to Antarctica as it's a place that has always fascinated me. Other than that I am not setting myself any other specific goals...I am just really excited to use this challenge as an incentive to read more widely from and about different parts of the world.

(For my reference - the 8 regions: North America, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania/Australia).

Thanks Diane, I'm really enjoying this challenge. It's really making me think about what I'm going to read this year in a different way. I find myself staring at our world map on the wall and wondering what books were set in different places. I'm sure I will be introduced to books I just wouldn't have come across before, and it's a great way to brush up on my geography and learn lots about new places too.
