Silvereyes looked at Heatherfur.

Silvereyes blinked at the intruder, then she jumped in front of him, growling. "who are you?"

Silvereyes smiled down at the kit, but she was still wary. "what do you want?"

heatherfur padded up to silvereayes "whats wrong???" she asked then saw the kit "ooo your so cute!!!! come let me show you the nursery little one!!!!"

Silvereyes laughed at Heatherfur. "i think we can except you. well have to ask the leader."

Silvereyes followed, thoughtful.

heatherfur walked into the nursery followed by crash and silvereyes

Silvereyes chuckled at Crash.

Silvereyes frowned. "you slept in a tree? who was your mother?"

"a rogue" she murmured, looking at Crash with pity in her eyes.

"a rogue is a cat that doesnt belong to twolegs or a clan."

"thats so sad!!!!!!!! crash im so soory!!!!" heatherfur meowed

"im sorry Crash" Silvereyes said. "i bet Dawnstar will say yes."

"someone called?" Dawnstar asked, padding into the nursery.

"hello, little kit. who are you?" Dawnstar asked, his voice deep and warm.

"im Dawnstar, as you know." he grinned conspiritually, like he was sharing a great secret.

"well you know now, Crash" Dawnstar winked.

Dawnstar chuckled. "practise makes perfect" he meowed cheerfully.

heatherfur looked at dawnstar with love in her eyes but looked away b4 dawnstar saw she had a HUGE!!! crush on dawnstar

"youll get it" Dawnstar said encerougingly (sp srry). "now, what did you come here for, Crash?"

Silvereyes saw Heatherfurs glance, and almost gasped in surprise. but when she thought about it, it was obvious. why else would Heatherfur do all shes done for him? does he even know?

Dawnstar nodded gravely. "as you can see, we are rather short on kits. how many moons are you?"

"moons are when that big white disk in the sky shows its full self. when that happens, all the clan cats come together, and meet in peace. when you are six moons, you can become an apprentice."

Silvereyes gestured to Heatherfur to follow her out.

heatherfur followed silvereyes out of the nursery "yes???" she sasked

Dawnstar nodded. "i think Heatherpaw can care for you while your waiting to be an apprentice. she has a knack for that kind of thing."

"so, you like Dawnstar?" Silvereyes said mildly.

"well then. yes, you can join the clan. there doesnt need to be a big ceremony, becuase you not a warrior or apprentice yet" Dawnstar said thoughtfully.

Silvereyes smiled with satisfaction. "why dont you tell him?"

"alright then, thats settled" Dawnstar said.

"is that all you ever do? nod?" Dawnstar asked teasingly.

Dawnstar chuckled.

Dawnstar winked and padded out of the nursery.

Silvereyes went in and curled around him.

Dawnstar sighed and glanced at Heatherfur as he walked past. he was glad nobody had asked how he knew Heatherpaw was good with kits. its because he watched her, all the time, when he know no one was looking, because he liked her. a lot.

Silvereyes followed him, stretching as she got out.

Silvereyes laughed softly.

Silvereyes laughter went up a bit in volume. "someones not used to the times of the clan" she smiled.

Silvereyes laughed again, harder. she took him by the scruff and gently diposited him in the nursery.

Silvereyes was talking to Dawnstar when Crash came out.

Silvereyes looked at him and smiled.

"sleepy still?" Dawnstar called.

Dawnstar laughed, a deep booming sound.

Silvereyes came over and licked his face clean.

Silverstar bent down to look into his eyes. "we arent like the rogues" she murmured. "we care for each other. thats what Clans do."

Silvereyes nodded, her eyes sad. "Dawnstar is very compationate. he would do anything if he knew it would help someone, anyone, even if it was his enemy."

Silvereyes shrugged. "im not sure. its never happened before."

Silvereyes pried open his jaw. "dont swollow" she commanded, her voice high and sqeecky with panic. she swipped the berry out of his mouth.

"its called a deathberry" she said, her voice trembling. Dawnstar rushed over. "it can kill you, just one berry. dont ever eat one again."
