30 Day Book List/Discussion discussion

Well today is the last day of our 30 day discussion. The link suggests that today we choose our favorite book of all time; so I look at that as the book I would take with me if I was to be stranded on a desert island.

My choice is cliche, but for many reasons I’d choose NIV, Beautiful Word Bible

If I had the chance to toss a second book into the lifeboat before the ship went down, it would have to be Pride and Prejudice

I would definitely say Cloud Atlas of David Mitchell, with the six different narratives working together. Reread it last year and loved it as much as before.

Ha! No surprises there, Ange. I would take The Complete Novels of Jane Austen.

Henk - even among my small subset of friends the reviews on this one vary wildly. It seems to be one of those love it or hate it books

Well I do have The Complete works of Jane Austen in one book.or the Oxford book of English verse perhaps?
