For those of you who like a different style of fantasy I like to present my own books.
The Forest of Allund
The Laughing Gods

Both novel are set in a world similar to ancient Greece. Unlike most stories of this period we do not have mighty heroes beating the snot out of monsters. For these books the monsters may indeed be the humans. The novels revolve around a new mage that comes home after ten years at the Academy. He seeks to revive his friendship with both his human and non-human friends along with new friends he makes along the way. His set world is soon upended by barbarian invasion, personal attack, and great danger thrust upon him. He and his friends fight back holding their enemies at bay, but at the same time incurring the wrath of the local rulers who fear the mage's power and influence. Soon the mage realizes that everything he was taught at the Academy about magic, philosophy, morality and ethics are useless when someone has you at the point of a sword. Then you must fight, run, or die.

In this book, I have tried to use a magic system that is more in line with the laws of physics. The mage can manipulate energy, but things like making solid objects appear out of nothing, or summoning beings cannot be done. The mage's power is limited, but can be very effective if used properly.

That are more details about my books on my web page along with my blog about what common life was like in this period. My URL Is: https://www.wilburarrron.com.

My books are on Kindle and they cost $1.99 each. If you like them, I would ask you please leave me comments on my web page or here at Goodreads or on Kindle.

I thank you
