Do you prefer books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?

Kayla dawson | 19 comments I love them both. I love it when a book makes me laugh. And I love it when they make me cry. Basically I love books that can cause a wide range of emotions. But not anger . I don't like that emotion .

Both are certainly important...emotional responses to books are so interesting & important to enjoying reading! I would more prefer a book that makes me laugh...if I had to choose. But I have favorite books in both categories!
