This book is exciting, real, well written and a page turner.
The story is about young Afghani girl Sima, who is living her life as a refugee behind a tall fence and of a young man called Dan, who is working through his own fences of adversity. Both discover each other after a daring escape causing a school lockdown. Their worlds become entwined, but can Sima trust him or should she keep running.
A great read-aloud generating discussion about asylum seekers refugees and human rights.

I do like Tristan Bancks! "The Fall' is one of my favourite mystery/action books for Intermediate age readers.
