Okay... don't have any for you right now... I don't usually read that kind of stuff. I,need some realistic fiction recommendations.
For historical fiction I'd recommend "Fever 1793" by Laurie Halse Anderson, "My Brother Sam is Dead" by Christopher Collier and James Lincoln Collier, and "The Year of the Hangman" by Gary Blackwood.
For realistic fiction I'd recommend anything by John Green, "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli, "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson, "13 Reasons Why" by Jay Asher, "Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky, "Holes" by Louis Sachar, and "The Catcher in the Rye" by J. D. Salinger.
thank you :) I want to recommend this book for everyone: The Rain by Virginia Bergin. it is also called H2O, but the books are exactly the same. Here's the link and cover for anyone who wants to read it.

I would recommend this book to anyone into apocalyptic type novels. it's not the best I've ever read but the concept was really cool and I still enjoyed it.

@Natalie I read the coldest girl in cold town! I don't think it's like the best book ever, but anyway it was pretty good, it's just sad because most of peeps don't want to read anything about vampires anymore ... ( actually in one of those peeps, so I didn't know that the book was about vampires before buying it ..), but anyway I loved it !!Ps: amazing books!!
It's pretty good. It's kind of mysterious, in a way. I read it during the summer, so I can't remember a lot about it. It was very good and well written, though. I remember it being kind of sad but that might have been another book.... anyways it's amazing and you should read it!

Sorry it took so long for me to reply to this. I never read graphic novels and hardly ever historical fiction, but currently I am reading Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Stepeys. I haven't read too far yet since I started it a day or two ago, but from what I can tell it is told through fifteen year old Lina's perspective when she is taken at night with her mother and younger brother, Jonas, by the secret Soviet police. It takes place around 1941, and is a pretty good book.
