Hello! I've recently started reading it too. I'm only on chapter 9 so far though. How's everyone else?
Ahh okay! Was wondering what was up since I saw you talking about it but there's no comments about it here. Was hoping to see more comments and discussion about the book as I read.
Same lol😂 I commented at the end of last month as that was when we agreed we would finish by but nobody responded 😂
Yeah exactly, haha can see that.. So how did you like it? I haven't finished it yet though.. at the part where the prince asks her to become a spy. D:
I really enjoyed and rated it 4 starts!⭐️ I hadn’t really read anything about the Faerie world before but this has definitely intrigued me.
One thing that I noticed for myself was I didn’t expect it to be so cruel😂 I know how that sounds since the title is the “cruel” prince but like I still didn’t think the humans would be treated so cruelly.
In the book where it says “book two” from that point onwards I was completely shook and I can’t wait for you to get there so we can talk about it xx
I just reached Book 2 and I'm still shocked! Although it was kinda hinted that Madoc had something planned already.. but still! I'm sad that even Rhyia died.. Kinda liked her and the name is cool hehe. Took me a bit longer than expected these past few days. Been binge watching the new Cursed TV show on Netflix. I have to say, I had quite a hard time picturing many of the Faerie characters in The Cruel Prince. But after watching Cursed, I'm now imagining the Fey kind and their world as the world of Faerie. Haha
I've finished reading the book! I also already went ahead to grab a copy of the next book. thinking of digging my claws into it tomorrow already. My gosh, it was finally getting good and then the book was over! I'm dying to know what will happen between them... and what kind of betrayal Locke and Taryn will cook up. What are your thoughts on the book?
I really enjoyed it and I’ve now got copies of the rest of the series. The second part of the book really shocked me and really turned the book into a 4 star instead of a 3. I don’t like the romance between Cardan and Jude and I know that’s where it’s going but I’ll bear it because they have entertaining banter. Jude’s twin and Locke can acc both die I hated them both they got me so angry. Madoc I really enjoyed his character, he’s a really interesting villain. Like morally I don’t agree with him killing people but like he’s a interesting character to read about. I Stan Jude’s older sister by far my fav character. What are your thoughts? X
I have to say that I couldn't agree more with what you said! I loved Vivi haha. Surprisingly Madoc is a very interesting and complex character. I kind of find him intriguing. One of my favourites definitely. I hate Locke and Taryn with all my might.. I can't believe you can do something like that to your own sister! Shouldn't it also raise a flag that Locke is not someone you ought to be with too? sighBTW.. I couldn't stop and continued with The Wicked King right away!
I just read until the end of book one and I'm shooked!! I have to admit, I really didn't expect that at all! I'm really enjoying the 2nd book of this series way more than the cruel prince. Better dialogue, fasted paced, and more things actually happening. I really want to know what's happening hahah. Will probably dig in on Book 2 part after writing this to you.
Let me know if you'll be reading it as well! Or if you started already. Would love to get more into detail with you with the chapters/events as you read too.
Exactly! It should be major warning signs if your boyfriend is dating and making out with your twin sister just so he can test your love! Like no! The fact she knew the whole time is just disgusting. I feel like Locke will get bored of Taryn and will ditch her and try to get back with Jude because she’s more interesting but I know my girl will slap his ass back to hell. I don’t like Cardan morally but he is so intriguing I’m excited to see what he will do. I might read the next book this month I’m not sure yet. I’m a mood reader so I need to be really in the mood for it to properly enjoy it. Right now I’m not in that type of mood but I might throughout the month. I’ll let you know what I do read it though. And I’m much more interested now that your said that a lot happens and it’s faster paced! Xx
Oh Cardan... haha. I agree though that I don't like him morally. Also kinda sends a bad message to girls about how love is supposed to be. But on the other side I do like him much more in The Wicked King so far. Typical example of how you should not judge a book by its cover. There's always another side to the story type. I WOULD KILL LOCKE RIGHT NOW THOUGH if I could. haha
I'm also a mood reader, but I lose interest fast too if I'm not feeling the mood. Hence why I've decided to try to binge through all of the books in this series before I lose the interest. Knowing myself, if I stop now, I might not pick the rest up and finish the story.
Yeh I wish I started the next book straight away now. But hopefully I’ll get to it soon. Apparently the second book is like split in opinion people either think it’s the best book or the worst book in the series x
I'm currently on chapter 27 on the Wicked King, so I will let you know my opinion once I finished the whole book. But so far I'm enjoying the 2nd one more over the 1st one. Mostly for the fact that the reading flow to me feels smoother in this vs 1st one. And I feel more things are actually happening now too. I'm low-key hoping for romance though... since I'm a sucker for some heated moments in my YA books haha
Okay quick update; I finished the Wicked King last morning and I can't say how much better this book was compared to the Cruel Prince! The ending made me utterly gobsmacked! I just stared at the last page.... lost for words. I wanted to shout at the book! hahah Easy to say that I grabbed my Queen of Nothing copy and started reading asap (I was up until 5am!) and I'm dying for more.
