I've found books that cover environmental policy to be especially engaging. Off the top of my head I can only recommend Florida water and environmental policy because I've just finished a few of those. I'll take some time to look up others that might be more broadly interesting to this group. I'm thinking maybe finding some stuff on policy and forestry - how humans have tried to regulate how we interact and who can interact with trees and how they pay or don't pay for that privilege.

That's a great idea. I have a large list of those types of books from the environmental courses I've taken. It's a bit of a mess and I've been meaning to create a personal shelf for them. I'll work on this as well.

Crushed Wild Mint
The poetry is emotional and visual. As a nature therapy guide I can feel the invitations to commune with the more than human world flow off the page. If you enjoy Robin Wall Kimmerer, you will enjoy enjoy this author from British Columbia.

Hey everyone: I too am a fellow tree lover. I get upset when I see city ones with that awful orange dot on it (signifying it'll be cut down). And yes, I do hug them and clap 'Bravo' when I see a flowering one in full bloom.I'm also an author and I've written a book called Banking The Fire about back-country camping, if anyone is interested. If you do read it and like it, please consider reviewing it as every little bit helps when you're self-published. Thanks!
