The Mating discussion

I'm looking for a book that I read about a year ago. The alpha is a vampire over shifters. The Ex that he thought was dead comes back for revenge and tires to kill the current mate. The current mate is human and is a reporter (I think). Also is right hand who is a shifter mate dies trying to save the human and leaves her pups (litter) for the human to raise.

Terry Spear has a great series of shifter books also. I've read them all and always look forward to the next one!

Im so sorry, im not sure, but it sounds so very familiar. Whilst your still looking try the Kategan Alphas 3 & 5, they both involve vampires and one of them includes an ex. (I dont think its the same book your after though)

I've read this book and know it is somewhere on my tablet, laptop, or note. It may take me a while to go through it but when I find it if someone hasn't already figured it out I will post the title.

Am I right on thinking it wasn't a very long book?
