Hello and happy June all !
I do hope everyone is doing ok and my apologies for not being around much. A few weeks after my westie passed, my father in-law died of the covid 19 virus, so it's been a very difficult time for me.
Such a strange time for everyone and I wish better times ahead.
This month we will be reading Because Of The Lockwoods. I love Dorothy Whipple's books and look forward to reading this one and hope you can join me.

Karen, I’m ever so sorry to hear about your loss! It must be even harder due to the social distancing rules. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

I also hope you can find some solace in Whipple’s book. I shall join this month.

Turns out Because of the Lockwoods is available in the US for Kindle, so I've treated myself to a copy and will be participating in the read ;). Looking forward to a typically absorbing Whipple read.

I just ordered a copy from Persephone so should be able to read this with you in a couple of weeks. I am excited! I really loved They Were Sisters even if it wasn't all "happily ever after"! :)

@Karen I can only echo everyone else's thoughts regarding your father-in-law. Losing someone close to us is never easy and I feel as if our world situation right now makes it doubly hard. Peace to you and yours.

I keep hoping the libraries will open soon as they have one in stock.

I'm sure I will, I haven't been let down by her so far. I see Random commentary is one of the new books coming out later this year.
