My first update:
Only two chapters in so far, but I love the narrative voice!

So, I'm reading this, and it struck me that we're reading two novels in a row with these old, rundown houses, only partially lived in, and I feel like we should address this issue!

Latest update: Honestly, still, not sure where this is going, but I'm happy to be along for the ride!

New update: What is up with this family? Also, I have a guess about the missing documents. But I'm saying nothing!

I'm about 3 hours into the audio book version, and I'm loving the writing so far. It has quite the atmosphere to it. :)

I just finished! I like the writing, and particularly the narrative voice, a lot. Looking forward to talking abut this one more!

I did not see that ending coming from the tone of the rest of the story.

Huzzah! Better late than never. :) And yeah, I wouldn't have predicted that ending, but I'm cool with it.
