Monthly Book Recs discussion

Hey everyone, happy June! Not sure where the heck May went it went flying by so fast.

Originally I was going to make this month's topic "Revitalizing Reads" but in light of how the world has exploded in the last couple of days I think I'm going to change it to RESISTANCE reads. Give me your recs for books about resistance, social change, justice, etc. I think this might be a good opportunity to talk about some nonfiction and poetry as well.

I missed the last two months' topics, but I'll definitely be joining in with this one!

can't wait to check them out! i ended up not feeling qualified to rec enough books for this topic and that's something i need to rectify by reading more nonfiction this year =/
