But I'm about 20% of the way through this one and it seems like it may have just been that story because I am really enjoying this one!

I'm so glad that you all are super excited to read this and/or have already binged it! I have actually NEVER read a TJR book so I'm am excited and apprehensive about finally reading this one. I've heard amazing things about Daisy Jones & Evelyn Hugo but the hype around those are so high.
Welcome Jody & Jessica! We're so happy to have you!

Jody! Welcome to Paper & Glam Book Club! It's kind of a two fold process - the chatters record live the night before and on the last Thursday of the month the video premieres live on the Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC_X...). Because of upload time I'll usually post the link in the group around 2 hours before it goes live. There's a real time chat string off to the right of the video and everyone jumps in and chats about the questions and the book and it's a ton of fun! And if you miss it live, no worries - it's uploaded to the Paper & Glam Book Club Channel and I'll also link it here in the group so you can chat in the official comments on the video as well!

Happy Book Club Thursday, Glam Readers!
Can’t wait to see you tonight at 6 PM PST/9 PM EST live on YouTube --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W7rb...
Here are our discussion questions for One True Loves:
Ice Breaker - What is one of your favorite literary love triangles?
What was your experience reading One True Loves? How many 💍 would you rate it?
Are you Team Jesse or Team Sam? Did you find yourself struggling to choose between the two alongside Emma?
One True Loves challenges the idea that a person can only have one true love that is super prominent in books and movies. Do you think that a person can only have one "once in a lifetime" loves or do you think it's possible to have more than one soul mate?
Throughout the book there's an underlying theme of identity and figuring out who you are. As a teen and young adult, Emma rebels against being "The Bookseller's Daughter" but as a 30-something embraces that role wholeheartedly until Jesse returns. Have you had similar experiences with your own identity?
Throughout the book, Emma transitions from being an avid non-reader to enjoying books and becoming her family's bookstore owner. How did you become a reader and if you were a reluctant reader as a child - any advice for non-readers or parents of reluctant readers?
One True Loves raises the eternal "if you had it to do all over again" dilemma. Why do these narratives so frequently begin in high school? Do you find you are inclined to begin your story from the point of view of your teenage self?
(OPTIONAL] What should our readers read next if they enjoyed One True Loves?

“If a June night could talk, it would probably boast it invented romance."

Right now our world is really suffering. There's a constant stream of horrors in the news, on social media, from the mouths of strangers on the street. And no matter where you are - it is HARD. And it is okay to be sad, angry, and frustrated. But don't forget that there are good things too. Find a silver lining, no matter how small and cling to it.
This this first month of Summer, we're picking up a Taylor Jenkins Reid novel! You may know her from Daisy Jones and the Six or The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo fame. But we're diving into one of her older novels - One True Loves which promises to take us on a whirlwind adventure of love, loss, and how to listen to our hearts.
No matter how you read along with us, we look forward to chatting with you here and the Facebook group during the month and don't forget to join our live chat on Thursday, June 25th at 6 p.m. PST!
If you loved One True Loves; check these out!
