emilia, that's a good start. You must add genre (e.g., YA dystopian, science fiction) and plot details to the topic header (title). We have thousands of book requests. We close threads with vague headers.
Click the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, there's a "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)
- Around what year did you read this book? A range of years is fine.

Can't remember the title, but I remember it just being a one word title.
Cover:
The book was split in half into two colors. One color was orange, the other color was a tealy/blue color. There was also a butterfly on the cover front and center, the middle of the butterfly set on the same line where the two colors met.
Plot:
There is a main girl, teenaged. She meets another teenaged girl who was living in a government facility in the middle of swamplands. The facility is split up between boys and girls and it is eventually found out, from what I can remember, that the government is testing diseases/a specific disease on the kids who live there. There is a specific scene around the exposition of the novel where the main girl is at a gas station with her dog, and a crazy man who has something to do with the facility tries to get into her car and speak to her. There is also a side character who goes to school with the main character. He is made fun of at school and has a weird nickname, but the main girl ends up kissing him. The girl from the facility also ends up kissing a boy who lived at the facility with her towards the end. At the end of the book, the two girls and the two boys are fleeing from the government members who want to take them back to the facility and are trying to get to the bottom of what is going on and why they are testing diseases on children.
