So far, I am really enjoying this books. Based on what some others have said, I am waiting for it to go sour. But, I hope maybe my overall experience will remain on the positive side! :)
I haven't begun. I've hit a reading slump again, but I have it and need to start soon since it's a library loan and you can't renew ebooks.

Could be - listening to books with my wife is always a joy as well! So, maybe that is it.

That is so incredibly sweet! My husband and I used to listen to audio books on road trips, but that stopped when we had children.

We just wait until after the kids go to bed and listen to two or three chapters. It takes place during our sacred "Couch Time" that we have each night after our Tazmanian Devils are asleep!

I'm really liking this so far. Not only do I enjoy the writing and the frame of altering POVs, but I like the story. I've never understood the allure of health resorts. I've never had a facial or massage, like yoga and meditation, but only alone and certainly don't want to lie in the sun around a pool, but this one seems very... intriguing. (view spoiler)

Funny thing is this book is making my wife want to go to a health resort! Should I be worried?!? 😉🤣

I’m just over halfway. I’m still getting a weird vibe from the Tranquillum House. Still a little Agatha Christie but all of the y’all about “transforming” people is starting to make it sound like The Island of Doctor Moreau......
I’m putting this out there again: I still think there’s something sinister hiding. All of literary senses are tingling from the part during Frances’s counseling when she talks about the murder mystery she’s reading has introduced too many characters that are still alive. Foreshadowing anyone?!?!?!?!
