The Eisner nominees for 2020 are finally announced!

I'm personally excited to see so many nominations for Tillie Walden, Mariko Tamaki, and Chip Zdarsky - some of my faves!

I like trying to read as many of these as I can before they announce the winners. Anyone you're rooting for in particular?

I'm happy to see Ghost Tree getting nominations, it deserves it so much. The Mariko Tamaki noms are great too, it's good to see things like Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass getting mentions- DC is doing a great job with their OGNs. I'm rooting for the Ghost tree team, Mariko Tamaki, and Chip Zdarsky to take home awards. But I'm going to try and track down a bunch of the ones on hear I haven't heard of before.

Angry that Kieron Gillen isn't up for anything other than Best New Series, though. Maybe I'm biased because he's my favourite but looking at Once & Future, Peter Cannon: Thunderbolt, The Wicked + The Divine, Die... dude has been knocking it out of the park with several successful series.
