I like very much your description :D
If I'm bored reading a romance book, I'll use your recipe. Maybe the characters will be controlled by aliens or something like this ^^ I'll add some robot voices for the discussions, it could improve them a lot.

I love your review. I approached this week's challenge in totally the same way, and I got exactly what I expected: a smutty embarrassing read that made me giggle like a teenage girl. In my book, a bulldog does the Hokey Pokey at a birthday party for dogs while his owner manages to seduce the owner of Happy Hounds Dog Camp. See? Ridiculous.

1) Terrible.
2) Cliched/Problematic as Hell.
3) Stereotyped to Shit.
I wanted to go in with the mindset that I would be amusing myself, laughing it off and rolling my eyes. I wanted it to be fun.
So I chose Bully. Little more than 300 pages, classic special snowflake girl and frienemy-bad-boy love interest. Painfully cheesy dialogue. I read it in 6 hours and LOVED IT. Loved it like a sci-fi movie from the 70s or a camp horror.
If you're anything like me and feel uneasy about searching for a book in this genre than I highly suggest taking the pressure off. Make it a game. Make it a laugh. Personally, I wanted to get the romance out of the way so I could spend two weeks reading my choice for a book over 500 pages - But. Now I think I'll be going for seconds and getting the next in this series!
