I would say Crescent City just because I started reading it and it's so huge that I didn't get enough time to continue so maybe picking it up as a BOTM might help.

I don't know about Six of Crows but it's kinda mixed. So like some say it's like FANTASTIC but some say it's so bad. I have a feeling it doesn't end happy so I was thinking od keeping a distance to it

I think it's FANTASTIC!!! It kinda ends at a cliffhanger, but the ending isn't a sad one.
