Pronunciation
Eira: Air-uh. Pronounced like the word Era. Example: "The end of an era."
Queen Allana: Uh-lon-uh.
King Marius: mare-E-us
Oriande: or-E-and
Kaylen: kay-lin
Government
Surprise, surprise! No one really likes the royal family. Or, at least the ones in charge. I think that the nobles remain hopeful of what Eira's eventual reign will bring.
The official government type is a Dynasty. However, the royals do often use the titles of King and Queen instead of Emperor and Empress. I'm trying to not make government a huge part of the book, but hey! It might be useful information to someone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Oriande
So, Oriande is a county that consists of several islands. One main one, of considerable size.(Translation: Big. Very big island.) There are about three secondary islands, all of which are inhabited and pretty close to the main island. The rest of the islands are uninhabited and deserted, basically. No one cares about them, really. Fun fact: The capitol of Oriande is Amélie, and is where the palace resides.
Here are the names and information of the non-deserted islands.
Main Island: Delphine. Palace and the general population live here.
Secondary Islands: Only nobles and other government-affiliated personnel live here, with the exception of their servants. The general population lives on Delphine.
Brown: Outside the gates surrounding the main, populated areas. Location of rebel bases/hq. Used as an agricultural area, (to the governments knowledge, haha). Only known population consists of farmers and their families. One of the only places where food is grown.
Green: The infamous gate! It separates the rural areas from the cities and populated areas for protection against wildlife.
(sorry, I can't draw AT ALL. i did my best though XD)
Well, my battery is dying and it's after midnight so goodnight/morning! I'll add more information next update
