Though we like to read about male characters that are flawed I'm seeing fewer and female characters with inward obstacles to overcome and more exterior obstacles, like having to prove to the world she's a strong fighter. Do you agree this is true? If so, why? Give us some examples maybe in real life as well as fictional.
