For this challenge, write a poem about The Selection! It can be any kind of peom, it doesn't have to rhyme. Have fun!

This is my poem. I hope you like it!

I went to the Selection,
After from Aspen I got rejection
Maxon was to find a soul mate,
and I was his first date
But being called my dear
Is my greatest fear
Even after I was the one Maxin first kissed,
Aspen I stll missed.
Finally after putting up such a fuss,
I realized Maxon and I were meant to be an "Us"
Now to Maxon belongs my heart,
Well, him and those strawberry tarts!

When I was a 5
Aspen made me feel alive
Then he pushed me into the selection
It felt like a rejection
Then met the prince
And I was sort of convinced
He was a low life jerk
with that irritatingly gorgeous smirk
I thought I wasn't attracted
But then, I started gettung distracted
Then I started to realize
Again I started to feel alive
Maxon made feel as free as a dove
And I knew I was in love

I love that!

Everything started with the selection
After which she got a rejection
America Singer was as perfect as could be
I knew she was the one for me
She was still hooked on Aspen
When I found out, I knew I had to take action
Gradually, she started to fall hard
I knew she let down her guard
Now, we are as happy as can be
And now she knows this is where she is supposed to be
