Hi Everyone! I'm Ashi (as you can see). I love Fantasy and Fiction. I like Romance when it isn't the main plot. I haven't read many non-fiction books but I'm trying.I really am. I've got school (Burn In Hell online-class-organisers!) and piles of homework. I also have a long list of TBR(who doesn't?) So I won't be that active.

I got lucky with that job, it's a small bookstore. I went to the grand opening and started talking to a really nice lady about books then casually said "I'd love to work at a bookstore" It turns out she was the owner so I got hired.
on a different note isn't this so cool! there are people from all over the world in these book group chats!

OMD no way??? Okay you've inspired me to walk into book stores and just ramble away about wanting to work in one to everyone i see, maybe i'll get lucky too? Then again i might get kicked out for being annoying instead 😂
it happened at Barnes and Noble too. I was out of town and this worker couldn't find a book so I found it for her and she offered me a job. Bookstores seem to love hiring readers. After this pandemic dies down you should definitely get a job at a bookstore.

Thanx guys! @Karina yh the uk has some pretty cool places but the weather is so unpredictable! Like 1 day is raining and so stormy, the next its so hot! I find it so fascinating how the vocab and pronunciation differs so much in british, american and australian english despite being the same language! Anyway glad to be part of this group!Xx

Yeah, I recently read it and it was SO MUCH FUN. I loved the historical setting, it just made the book so much more atmospheric and creepy. Also, I love Thomas Cresswell sooooo much.

I haven’t read the second book yet but I honestly can’t wait to order it and get into my hands. I just keep thinking about it and Kerri Maniscalco’s new series that is coming out this October.
