2017 Reading Challenge discussion

Ifemelu is a character I won't forget soon. This smart, modern Nigerian woman leaves her family and true love to attend college in America, endures several years of poverty and depression before graduating from college, then starts a successful blog about race from a Non-American Black point of view. Her observations are right on.

This was THE book from Chimamanda Adichie I think everyone should read. I was so engrossed by the characters, the plot, and the scenery, I did not even bother to find out how many pages it had...over 500 by the way, for those looking for a book to fulfill that category.
