Honestly, life here is super stressful. When I sleep I’m
Plagued by nightmares. I’m scared about stuff happening. I haven’t had any quarantine time as my job is ‘essential’. So much stuff and it’s hard to read. The books I’m reading don’t seem to be that interesting to me anymore. I’m on the verge of getting rid of half my books and starting over.

I’m sorry that you feel that way, are you able to take some time for yourself?

Manda I’m so sorry you’re struggling so much lately :( it’s definitely been a hard time for some and is really a trying year.
I completely understand the desire to start over with reading. I’m in that boat as well :/ I have too many unread books where now I just can’t decide what to read so I just don’t.

i always miss these posts! i just started back at work a couple of weeks ago - nyc phase 3 woohoo, but i hate having to ride the subway and i'm scared for everyone all the time, so stay safe & don't scoff at masks!

I kinda forgot to comment on this, too. Things are going... hasn’t been too bad. I’ve been working a lot, as a bartender and barista at a hotel. People aren’t great about social distancing and obviously don’t wear masks much when I see them, so that’s fun. I’ll be heading down to switch apartments at school next week and preparing myself to get back to that.

Honestly I feel you guys on that one! still can’t believe things are opening and in like phase 3 of reopening. It seems way too early. Masks are your friends guys!

Just as an update, I will be doing SS earlier than usual this year to accommodate the extremely long shipping times.

Good to hear from you. It has been very hectic this year with work. Trying to find a new job as well since my current job is not hiring for anything beyond the basic position I'm in and I just cannot stay in this position any longer. I told them when hired I expected to be able to move up with the company and was advised I would only need to put in a year at basic level to do so, yet it's a year and a half and no promises to be anything but a customer service rep, which is killing my soul little by little. Bad enough I have customers yelling at me, I dislike having management ask why we are so slow these days working from home lol.
