Cam felt like someone was watching him, but that's just him

Sam walked in. She had pulled her jacket sleeve over the wound in her arm, and it had stopped bleeding oddly fast. It didn't hurt, either; It just felt a bit numb. That worried her. She ordered a latte and sat down across from Darcie, not mentioning what was on her mind. Her expression wasn't entirely indifferent, but it betrayed none of her emotions.

"Everything's fine." Sam said. She took a sip of her coffee. "What about you?"

Sam shrugged. She looked around the cafe, seeming slightly tense.

Cam was fiddling with his hands

Sophie walked in

"I don't recognize him." Sam said, purposely ignoring Darcie's earlier question. She noticed Sophie enter out of the corner of her eye.

Sam finished her coffee. She wasn't sure what she was supposed to say now. Despite being as smart as she was, Sam wasn't too great at... social interaction.

"Nah, I still prefer daggers. I figured out how to enchant a pair of 'em, so I've been using those for about a year now. You?" Sam saw Darcie steal the man's wallet and smirked a little.

Sam grimaced a bit. "Ah. I always hated guns, but that's just my opinion. Anyway. How'd you get caught?"

"I doubt you came to join a hero team by choice." Sam said. There was a faint trace of disgust in her voice when she said the word 'hero'; She didn't really care for the word.

"True enough." Sam said simply. Something caught her attention through the windows of the cafe.
