And me? I am one of the moderators of the DODReads Group. I joined DODReads because I read widely and often on military and history topics and because I am an author of historical fiction and nonfiction about World War II.
The military runs deep and wide in my family (grandfather in WWI, father in WWII, husband in the Navy in the Vietnam War era, nephew in the Iraq War.
My latest book is The Other Veterans of World War II: Stories from Behind the Front Lines (Kent State University Press, 2020).
