African Literature Book Club discussion

Hello everyone I hope you are all well in these trying times! It's been a while and I have been saddened that I let this group go inactive. In order to get this book club restarted I need to know what we all would be open to reading.

Please recommend books by an African author we can read during the upcoming months. It does not have to be set in Africa but if it is this is a plus.
