Star Wars Bookworms Book Club discussion

The next new release doesn't come out until March so we have some time to read and discuss a book before then. Make your suggestions here on what book you would like to read. I will also open it up to Facebook and Twitter

How Star Wars conquered the world???? I have heard only good things about it and would love to read it with a group!

Splinter of the Minds Eye and Rogue Squadron have both been suggested before. Revenge of the Sith and Darth Bane Path of Destruction were suggested over on Twitter

This is a hard decision. I like all of the suggestions at this point and can go either way. I once voted for Splinter of the Mind's Eye, so I'll vote for that one again.

I've voted for 'Splinter of the Minds Eye' in the past so I will again. It would be nostalgic to read the first EU novel and compare it to more contemporary storylines.

I'll vote for Splinter of the Mind's Eye again.

How about Darth Maul Shadow Hunter? I'd also be down for How Star Wars Conquered the Universe.

It looks like across here, Twitter, and Facebook, Splinter of the Minds Eye has the most interest. We will go with that as our discussion book for Jan/Feb. I will set it up.

Cool. Just ordered my copy so I can start early next week. I still prefer physical books to ebooks so I have to wait for delivery.

Is there a reading schedule like previous books or do we just post in the appropriate threads? I'm fine with the latter, I just wanted to check.

Cool. I think setting it up that way works better than a set calendar since we all read at different paces. Setting up the spoiler zone threads was a neat idea as well.

I was behind on the podcast and just listened to the "Christmas" episode where you said you weren't organizing a book this month, so kudos for stepping up and taking charge for us.

I just placed a hold on this book at my library. Hopefully I will have it next week and can jump in.
