Ellen | 3542 comments After several Amish teen girls go missing, Ohio state agent John Tomasetti calls upon Sheriff Kate Burkholder to help with the case. The two have worked together in the past on difficult cases and they have also become close in a personal relationship. The teens don't seem to have anything in common except for their Amish lifestyle and they have disappeared without a trace. Some of the girls have been gone for months and a few for years. Kate's Amish background is put to the test as she realizes that the only link between the girls is that they were testing the boundaries of their religion during their "Rumspringa", a time when young people are allowed to taste the "Englisher" life before their baptism. Someone seems to be threatened by the fact that the teens are not adhering to the strict rules of their family's religion. Kate begins to believe that this time the kidnapper might just be one of the Amish community. Once again she will put her life on the line to attempt to find these girls before it's too late.

This was another great mystery from Linda Castillo. The audios are particularly well done and I am so glad that I have quite a few more to go.
