Ooh! It looks very encouraging!
I’m a huge fan of Jared Harris and Lee Pace, and the young lady they cast as Gaal looks perfect for the role.
Who is Gaal again? Jared Harris as Hari Seldon looks great. I really want to see how they depict Trantor-the city-planet!

Since it's Apple, does that require a subscription to somewhere to watch it when it's released? I have never had Apple products so I don't actually know what it means for Apple to be releasing a series.

I think they offer a free 7-day trial, but I don’t know if it’s device agnostic or exists only within their closed ecosystem. I know you can link it to Amazon Prime, because we just did that after my wife bought a new iPhone this week, but I’m not sure if it is dependent on actually having an Apple device.
My advice would be to wait until next year (Foundation doesn’t release until somewhen in 2021) and investigate the free trial.

None of us are an apple user, except a sister in CA because her son says she needs idiot proof.
As I've just read Fondation (yes, I know, it was about time !) I found the trailer a bit dark compared the lighter tone of Asimov who does have a sense of humor.
Asimov's humor. To me, this one always represented the more lighthearted side in that science nerd kind of way -“Tell me why the stars do shine,
Tell me why the ivy twines,
Tell me what makes skies so blue,
And I'll tell you why I love you.
Nuclear fusion makes stars to shine,
Tropisms make the ivy twine,
Raleigh scattering make skies so blue,
Testicular hormones are why I love you. ”
