It is not often I give up on a book, but I accepted defeat with this one. It was very well written but I just couldn't get to grips with it. I persevered for several chapters, but when I realised I was avoiding picking it up I decided life is too short to read something you are not enjoying. Perhaps I just wasn't in the right mood for it.
