The men in Carleton’s circle (Ash, Dorian, Christopher) find his circumstances humorous. Your thoughts about their scenes with him?

The scene when he was explaining that he got his boss's daughter pregnant was hilarious. I love the relationship between the three of them. I know Ash is the person who ties the group together, but I think Dorian and Carleton could end up being good friends.

The circumstances were rather amusing. After all, the straight and narrow guy had a one night stand with his boss's daughter, who thinks he is a male prostitute, and she gets pregnant. Carlton is very lucky to have a group of friends that will make fun of you and still stand with you.

I loved those scenes with the guys. I laughed my ass off. Their interactions made the book. Getting Farrah involved was hilarious too. Her calling all men idiots. I’m like yep!

I did like these scenes, too. Of course, I hadn't realized at the time that Pru was his boss's daughter. Icing on the cake for the male humor.

Everything you all said, especially Laura! These scenes made the story for me. So many laugh out loud moments and it was even funnier on audio. I love how these tough, complicated men have forged a bond. And, there’s something wonderful about how the real Dorian, Dougan and Carleton have reunited as adult men after the horrors of their childhoods.

I loved the scenes with the guys. They were great. I wished there were more scenes with them. But I also loved when Farah was lighting into him about how he treated Pru.
