I enjoyed the romance in this book. I just wish we were involved in Carleton's investigation a little more. We were as much in the dark as Pru in this one.
I would have liked a bit more on the investigation side too. I think that is just the Romantic-Suspense addict in me. So, now we have to wait till next year, at least, for The Earl on the Train, Sebastian Moncrieff's book.
I really loved this one, but I think the story was short changed and rushed. It’s 75 pages less then the next shortest book. I would have liked an epilogue farther in the future, him with his children. I would have liked more details with Cutters past also. We only get his story when he tells Pru about it. They are one of my favorite couples. I have always liked Morley.
I liked it, too, but also thought it could have had another chapter and/or an epilogue. Maybe interaction with the other men's ladies more....

I read the previous books over a year ago so when the next one comes out next year, I am going to be like who the H is Sebastian?
I'll be wondering the same thing Laura! My memory is awful when it comes to names. It looks like the author is writing another series about Pru's sisters. I think those stories will be interesting.
I failed to do a character list for The Duke with the Dragon Tattoo (will get it done). He was the pirate who was working with The Rook and kidnapped Lorelai.
I wanted more of the investigation, too. There wasn’t much character development of William and his relationship with Honoria. Perhaps that will be addressed in her book in the new spinoff series, Goode Girls Romance. Hers is the first book, Courting Trouble.
I've got the ARC for Courting Trouble it will publish in December. The series is a trilogy about Honoria and the twins.
I may have to do a re -read of The Duke With The Dragon Tattoo before the next book. I hadn’t heard about her new series with Pru’s sisters. It sounds good.
