https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I loved this book! It's incredibly beautiful, which seems odd to say about a sci-fi, time travel, war novel.
Here is my review - I enjoyed it! Not quite like anything I have read before:

I absolutely loved this book! I just had my first baby a few weeks ago and assumed I wouldn’t be able to finish any book for a while. And if all books, this was a pretty dense one to sink my teeth into. But, despite any “baby brain” I was fascinated by it and able to keep up and finish it. Woo-hoo!
This definitely a book I wouldn’t have chosen. I’m not entirely sure what to say. I enjoyed it and liked it but I’m not sure why. It’s just something inside me. Maybe it’s my love for words and the way two people can come to love each other words alone?

It was a pretty out of the ordinary book for me, too. Not sure I would have tried it either if not for the rec of my co-worker. I am glad I did and that I did it with a book club so I had some people to discuss it with!
