I think Jules made a dumb decission moving into that apartment. I mean, she moved somewhere that looks creepy and the fact that she couldn't even let people know she was living there or inviting her friends looked a little suspicious to me
and the fact that even Leslie didn't know what was down therethat was definitely a red alarm
then the rules were a little too much
and the way she was getting paid in cash should have been a warning too like Chloe mentioned to her
but I understand her financial conditions and why she took the job against all odds
I'm excited to see what happens next, I think the dumbwaiter will play an important role in this book
and yes, i think the same about the dumbwaiter. i also feel that doctor Nick and Jules are going to have some love between them
also I'm excited to know what exactly happened to Ingrid. do u think she actually left by herself or something happened to her?
i haven't finished yet but i need to say that charlie is giving me a bad feeling. it might sound dumb but he's being way too nice with jules, as if he's trying to make her feel comfortable with him bc that would give him more opportunities to hurt her. idk if you understand what i'm trying to say
okay Charlie didn't cross my mind, but now that you mention it, it makes sense. And when Ingrid disappeared, Charlie wasn't on his post either. It might be related in some way

i think she was kidnapped, bc even if she said she was scare of that place she really needed the money so i can't imagine just going away wihtout even telling jules
yeah that's a possibility. because Jane and Ingrid's disappearance is definitely linked in some way. so they might be kidnapped by the same person
at this point i think jules should start minding her own business. i can't believe she even called 911
and at one point I had a little suspicion about Nick too but now I'm not so sure. he seems really good and all
but I don't wanna spoil you until you have read it, but someone who we totally didn't suspect because they seemed to weak might actually be the culprit and I'm here for itthe book is finally getting somewhere
let me know what you think... also I really like Jules as a character, even though she's trying to answer questions she's not being stupid or anything so that's a good thing

I didn't care about Jules, but the last chapters have been really enjoyable and now I understand her better. And yes, i like her not being a stupid character or making stupid decissions
okay I finished the book!! after the story took off, I got interested and then I just had to finish the rest of the 30% of the book.
and I have sooooo much to discuss
alright I might spoil you so I won't talk anymore about itlemme know when you finish and then we can discuss
ok so I knew Nick and Greta had something to do with this but knowing the others were involved was a little unexpected
"It’s just a group of dying rich people desperate to save their lives no matter the cost. And Nick is here to facilitate it."the best way to summarize the book lmao
I had thought that maybe Jane had also somehow become a victim of Bartholomew but she hasn't and it was finewhat did u think about that??
although I would have liked the book to be a little more eerie you knowlike give it a haunted feel but that never happened.
I had thought that the dumbwaiter would play some creepy role but that never happened.
but overall it was a good book. I enjoyed it and if u have read my review u already know that.
I'm planning on reading Home Before Dark soon
I'll probably start this week itself
i didn't mind either about Jane and her mystery, but at the same time I would like to have a closure in that
yeah i thought the same about jane and being a victim of Bartholomew, but maybe the author could say another thing about her mystery and would be fine, i just needed a closure to feel that the book was completely finished
