Hayley ran in, taking off her shoes. She laid her head down and watched the moon and the stars.

Hayley hugged her knees. She suddenly got up and looked at the sky.

“We don't fit in well
'Cause we are just ourselves
I could use some help
Gettin' out of this conversation, yeah
You look stunning, dear
So don't ask that question here
This is my only fear, that we become
Beautiful people
Drop top, designer clothes
Front row at fashion shows”

She sang to nothing. She knew nobody was listening to her. Hayley just sang for no reason.

Hayley ran to the academy.

Leon walked up with Lily and sat down cross legged on the grass.

"Wow. The scenery is beautiful!"

Leon nods quietly

Lily sits down beside Leon and takes his hand gently

Leon looks at her surprised, but doesn’t pull away.

Lily didn't see Leon looking at her, as she was staring straight ahead. "Where does the sun set? I would love to paint or draw it if I'm not too tired and I can find paint."

Leon looked around, “West would be... that way.” He points with his other hand.

"You could sit there and I could paint you"

Leon blinks, “Ummm... sure.”

Lily looked really happy as she thought about it. She was thinking of the shading, the colour, and lots of other stuff and soon became lost in her thoughts

Leon gazed at her then turned his head embarrassed.

Lily suddenly jerked her head up and she looked at Leon. "Did I start day dreaming?"

Leon smiled softly, “Yeah...”

"Oops"

“It’s okay. I thought it was kinda cute.”

Lily blushed and looked away, picking at clovers

Leon squeezed her hand gently.

Lily bit her lip

Leon stayed quiet

"So.. What's your hobby?" Lily looked up

Leon shrugged, “I don’t do much.”

"Why not? How about you ask a question then."

Leon thought for a long while, “What’s your favorite season?”

"Spring and fall."

((G’night!)) Leon nodded, “Those are good seasons.”

"What about you?"

“Spring.”

Iz comes here and lays down. I should go back, she thinks. After about ten minutes just laying there, Izzy stands up and runs back through the forest.

Leon nodded softly

"What's your favourite? Rain, sun, snow, or wind?"

“Windy.” Leon smiled brightly, “You?”

"Sunny but not too hot. And also a clear sky." Lily smiled too

“It’s best sunny and windy.”

"I hate getting hair in my mouth."

“My hair’s short,” Leon said unhelpfully and used his free hand to screw up his hair.

"Well most boys cut their hair short"

Leon blinks dumbly

"What?"

Leon shrugged

"Let's take turns asking questions. It's your turn." Lily smiled

Leon looked at her, “Uhhh... Are you bilingual?”

"Yeah."

“Cool! What 2? English obviously! But what else?”

"Mandarin."

“Cool!!! I know French... kinda. I’m learning.”
