We are changing things up a little this year and wanting to rev everyone's reading engines. Each week we will ask you to read as many books as you like, pertaining to the topic up for the week.

I'm going to attempt to do this one! If anyone knows of any free or cheap kindle books that would work for this challenge, please let me know. Fingers crossed having my kindle will make it easier to join in this year...waiting for the Library to order books can take up to 4 weeks (and does most the time)

I see you are a planner Renae. For 6 it should be easy and for 45 we have months to find you something. Someone will hook you up so no worries.

Amazon has tons of free books that should cover the majority of the weeks, even something published this year. Thousands of cheap and free self pubs come out every year.

Do you have two books for the 500 pages and romance Renae?

i think i will join tho 45 is hard for me sins i am saudi i don't think theres a book about that but i will try my best to find a book for every week then decied if i will join for sure or not. But ilove this idea so much.

Also, i have a shelf called "free eBook" "99 cents" and library loaned/get from library " (which may not be the same for everyone). I'll have to update them, and some of those prices may not be the same anymore, but we can always loan books to one another too (when permitted).

I'm lucky that i live in a place where there are book fairs with authors who are from here and write about it. I just don't know if they're the type i want to read lol.

You know who's another great one for 500 page books and many times her books are really cheap and easily available since she's so popular Renae, Kristen Ashley. She has like a gamillion different series :) maybe check out her books. Also, if you have an Amazon Kindle account, they have a lenders option available where you can share/loan a book 1 time to another reader and I have thousands of books so I'd gladly lend you anything from there if you're interested. Just PM me okay :)

I'll try and give it a go. The hometown one will be seriously hard for me though, I can only think of one set near me that I can think of, and I read that last month

The Book Thief is over 500 pages, and is technically considered YA. And it's an excellent book, for anyone who hasn't read it. I am currently reading The Lottery and Other Stories by Shirley Jackson. Would that count for the 500 pages or more, or does it have to be YA or NA?

I might be doing this, but probably in a completely different order than the challenge requires xD Like, I'm going to steal this for myself, but I have such a hard time scheduled reading or anything like this. I'll end up reading something else just to spite myself lol
But I really like the idea, so I'll try doing one theme every week.

I'm in. It sounds like fun but with a family and a full time time job I might not be able to get through them all, for example, a 500 page book. I'm definitely going to give it a shot though!

Doe it have to be in order and can we just do one of the things listed for each week? I have vacation time coming up and I can get the 500 page one done then! :-)

Great question, Tasha! She's my favorite, too, but I've read all of her J.K. Rowling ones, but none of her Robert Galbraith!

So we don't add our shelf until the discussion page is up and then we put it there, right?

Thinking again on this and I am going to have to not do this one. I am really trying to focus on series and my mountain of TBR's. I also change my mind about what to read alot and don't want to pressure myself too much

I was thinking the same thing haha. I grew up in a small town in NSW. I think Cloudstreet is set in Western Australia. Though it's not YA it could still count. Where is Tomorrow where the War began set? I remember it was a rural town.

Thinking of a book for #52 will be a challenge because I always force myself to finish books even when I'm not enjoying them. I hate not finishing books.

A book that has been adapted already. If it hasn't been released but completed then that's fine but not one that hasn't even been made
