Mythical Creatures [[ Original Role-play ]] discussion

Darling panted as jumped up each rock. Where is he? She looked around for Simba, her mate, but she couldn't see him anywhere, which only made her even more scared. She, of course, was being chased by a dragon, and Simba knew it. She tried to think of a creature that would be able to blend into the colour of these rocks, since her main form (which she was currently in) was pure white, but she couldn't think of anything.

Simba looked around for his mate. Where is she? Where is my Darling? Surely he would've found her again by now! He'd always remember her beautiful white fur... Then it hit him. Maybe she changed forms? No, she doesn't usually do that when she's being chased...

Tina stumbled along the red rocks, panting and looking behind her multiple times at the dragon that was chasing her. She had only been exploring- but Tina supposed she should have been more careful. The dragon roared, and she was so startled that she fell onto her hands and knees, getting quite a few scrapes (not anything serious, though). Tina scrambled up again as quickly as she could, and started picking her way away from the dragon as fast as possible.

When he saw the human, Simba groaned. So now he was not only trying to save his mate, but now a human? That was when he spotted a bright white spot... "Darling!" He called and ran over to her and nuzzled her.

"Simba!" Darling squeaked happily, but she still trembled with fear. "I'm going to give you a suggestion: quit risking your life and let's try running!"

"You know that's not my style," Simba growled. "Besides, apparently a dumb human decided that she should help make things harder for me. You know I don't like leaving anyone behind,"

"Then just turn into something strong enough to carry both a cat and a human and get the three of out of here, you idiot!" Darling snapped. "Seriously, Simba! After how many times you and Birdy got me out of how many pickles, you'd think you'd be smart enough to know what to do. You've been helping me stay alive for sixty years now,"

"You don't think I panic when you're being chased?" Simba growled. "It was you're bright idea to come to a dragon filled area!"

"Oh, don't get me started on the stupid thing's you've done!" Darling's voice started to fill with anger, annoyance and fear.

As fast as Tina was going, the dragon was gaining on her. Glancing back again, she yelped as she saw the dragon closer than before, and knew she had to do something. A tree came into view, one of the odd few around, and a branch hung over a bit of a drop. Tina eyed it nervously, but ran over to it and jumped up, grabbing the branch with both hands. Swinging precariously, she let go of the branch just as it snapped from her weight, landing in a tumble below.

Simba looked up and quickly combined with Darling into a large eagle, and instantly picked up Tina. The Great Eagle had white feathers and brown feathers with one yellow eye and one green eye.

Tina let out a sharp cry as a giant eagle seized her. Oh, no, this is when it drops me for the dragon.. She squirmed, trying to get the eagle to drop her before it rose to far up for her to land safely.

Simba's voice came out of the eagle's mouth. "Oh stop moving, human. We're helping you."

"Oh!" She hoped with all her heart it wasn't lying. Wait, did the eagle say we?

"We combined." Darling said, almost as if she red the human's mind. "You can tell by our feathers, eyes and how our voice changes from female to male."
"We're shape-shifters," Simba added. "but it's exhausting to combine."

"Oh," Was really all Tina felt like she could say. Then she added, quieter, "Sorry."

"It's ok, love." Darling smiled,

Simba forced the combined eagle to look behind them, which made Darling squeak.

"Warn a girl!" She cried.

"Ok." Simba answered. "I'm going to turn our head around to see if we out-flew the dragon. He sighed in relief when he saw the large dragon had given up.

The large eagle gently set the girl down on the ground and escaped the combination, making the two voiced turn into their regular form: cats.

((This is strange. XD I've never done anything like this before. It's kinda cool.))
